Kim Jones, native New Yorker and passionate stylist, started her styling education at the highly respected Carsten Institute in Union Square NYC after completing a B.A. in communications from Lehman College. She developed her craft while apprenticing under master stylists and colorists at renowned Manhattan salons like Eva Scrivo, Edris, and A.K.S. before taking her talents to Brooklyn in 2009. She built a loyal clientele by providing natural Balayage highlights, complex color corrections, and versatile haircuts. When Kim launched Roots Radicals salon in 2012, her vision was simple - to provide high-end salon results for clients in a fun, laid-back environment. Healthy and Curly hair are some of her passions. The senior stylist and hilarious leader of Roots Radicals keeps that vision alive while growing a following by offering her multitalented practice of services that grow out beautifully. Harix Moran, originally from southern California, has lived in New York for 17 years and has been a stylist in Williamsburg for over ten years. Formally trained at the Aveda Institute New York, Harix has enjoyed learning from an array of stylist and hair educators over the years, applying these skills to his diverse clientele. A curly hair specialist, Harix applies scuplting and dry cutting techniques, for customized results, to suit the needs of his curly clients. Finishing the service with a styling ritual, Harix walks his guests step by step through the styling process so they can achieve a defined textured look at home.

Sarah Brzozowski began her hair career in the theatre. With a B.S. in Theatre Design and Technology, she traveled to various regional theaters to build wigs and work backstage on hair and wardrobe crews before setting roots in New York in 2015. After the first year in the city training at the Aveda Institute by day and working backstage at Fuerza Bruta by night, she was offered an apprenticeship at Parlor. Deep understanding of color theory, shape, and design from her years in the theatre and passion for hair allowed her to move quickly through the training program at Parlor and build a loyal clientele. Her color specialties include dimensional reds and sparkling blondes of all shades, and her favorite cutting challenge is creating personalized, complex haircuts for those who like to stay ahead of trends.

Cut

Kevin, originally from Los Angeles, brought his talents to Brooklyn where's he's been cutting hair since 2012. Kevin has a reputation for cool-yet-polished, wash-and-wear haircuts that are constantly evolving and heavily inspired by music, fashion and travel. Classically trained with a strong foundation of Vidal Sassoon techniques, he honed his skills by training under some of the best stylists on both coasts. Having been in the industry for twenty years, he understands how to help his clients achieve their aesthetic goals, by taking into consideration their hair needs and lifestyle. When he's not cutting hair, Kevin enjoys exploring the city, seeing live music, documenting street art, collecting records and trying out new restaurants and bars with his wife, Pilar.
